Gas Buddy & Bricasso Invention

After reading Pearl and Wagner
Two Good Friends, discussing TEAMWORK, and using the Gas Buddy App to find the cheapest gas in town,
students helped each other make Bricasso Masterpieces!

Assignment: CREATE / INVENT a car that is NOT FUELED by GAS on an iPod Touch using Bricasso.
Check out the awesome cars!

Unfortunately the colored printer in our building was out of ink so I had to put the pictures on a flash drive and print them at Walmart!

Assignment: Write a descriptive paragraph about the Bricasso invention.
I am very proud of the end products. We still have a lot of work to do, but I am excited to share that the Bricasso App helped inspire descriptive writing!

Students use the Dictionary App to define words.

Here are a few sheets that we used to practice 3 digit subtraction and addition with money while using the Gas Buddy App.

Do you use the Bricasso App or the Gas Buddy App in your classroom? If so, I would love to learn how and give it a try!
