  3. My kiddos LOVE "Hungry Fish" by Motion Math. It is a great math game that decomposes numbers, and the fishies "eat" the addends to make a certain sum! You can change the level based on your students' levels...all the way up to high 2 digit numbers! You should check it out.

    Thanks for hosting a giveaway!!

  4. Hooray for your first giveaway!! I don't have any classroom iPads (yet!), but there are a few apps on my iPhone that I have used with my class. My students' favorite iPhone app is called Cat Cam-- it's a Dr. Seuss app that puts a cute Dr. Suess frame around their photo!

  6. Beth Ann- That's great to know! My tech director purchased that for me the last few weeks of school last year, but I did not have time to try it! Look forward to using Splashtop!

  8. Kate- I love the Dr. Suess Camera! I even had fun doing it! It was a great way to celebrate his B-Day last year! I think The Cat and the Hat was 50 last year! Thanks for entering! Glad you have a phone with apps- even though you don't have any iPods or iPads- if you win U could use the gift card to purchase songs for your classroom :) My kids absolutely LOVE KidzBop! I think I own all albums!

  9. I don't have an I-Pad either. I would love some. I use some on my phone for my own children. My favorite one is the Super Why app. It's not free but it is so great for children recognizing letters and sounds. They love it.

  12. I love to use Splashtop too to connect to my laptop. The kids love using the app Pop words, which is similar to Boggle to help them practice word work skills.
